Education and Workshops

A love and appreciation of heritage has always been at the heart of how Archae-aus operates. We take every opportunity to promote the value of heritage and encourage others to engage with the past through:

  • School incursions
  • Presentations and workshops for industry
  • Presentations and workshops for community groups
  • Professional development workshops for teachers
  • Educational resources

Our education programs offer you the opportunity to learn about Australian cultural heritage from professional, Australian-trained archaeologists in a range of interactive or seminar formats. Our international experience means we can also help you explore European, Middle Eastern and Asian archaeology. Our brochures below will give you an idea of the kind of programs that we offer.

Our School Incursion and Excursion sessions directly address many aspects of the National History Curriculum. We have taught over 3,000 children in schools and after school programs across the Perth Metropolitan area and the south-west, covering all aspects of the curriculum – archaeology, history and ancient history, other social sciences, science, mathematics, language, art.
